WHY DO I NEED A CARE PLAN?
Your website needs continual attention and support so you can focus on your business and do what you do best. We offer top quality hands-on support with a full support desk to take care of all your website needs.
Our care plans offer you peace of mind that every month we will be on hand, rain or shine, to update your website, monitor it’s uptime and security, tweak its performance issues, and respond to requests from you and your team to edit, improve or fix unforseen and timely issues.
WHAT CAN MY TINKER TIME BE USED FOR?
Your 'tinker time' can be used for anything that takes up to 30 minutes each month.
Changing page copy, adding images or editing blog posts can all be included.
If we think something will take more than 30 minutes, we advise you of this and provide an hourly or project based quote, depending on what you need.
Tinker time cannot be rolled over to the next month, it's 'use it or lose it', but you'll find there's always something to do!
How do I contact you when I have a problem?
We provide a support ticket desk for quick turnaround and tracking of all support requests. You can submit all requests via the support system on the My Account page and we will reply within normal business hours.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY WEBSITE GOES DOWN?
As we have 24/7 downtime monitoring, we're alerted almost instantly if your website should go offline.
If the worst should happen, we'll do our best to fix the problem as soon as possible.
Our home based setup means we work fast, so you might not even be aware of the problem until we tell you about how we fixed it!
Why do I need an ongoing plan when my web host updates my WordPress version?
Web hosting providers may or may not update your WordPress software for you (please check their policy), but no web hosts will update your plugins.
WordPress plugins are created by multiple authors, and are consistently updated to newer versions to comply with the latest version of WordPress, or to address security issues and bugs. It is not guaranteed that the mandated updates to WordPress will not break the website, nor that plugins will continue to function if not updated.
For this reason, having a trained web specialist on hand to monitor the website is necessary to update plugins, rollback plugins, replace plugins or even adjust the theme to continue optimal performance.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE MONTHLY MAINTENANCE REPORT?
The monthly report includes details of all the work we've carried out on your site over the monthly, plus things like your website latest performance review and any downtime that's been logged.
It also includes an eCommerce report with basic sales details, plus an SEO report so you can see how you're ranking with Google and alongside your competitors.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel anytime. You are under no obligation to continue the ongoing service. We just ask you give us 30 days notice so we can carry out our last thorough update of the website and remove our administrator credentials.
